Halal policy

1. Purpose

In order to better implement the relevant laws and regulations of the country, produce halal products in accordance with the law, and make it more standardized, this policy is formulated.

Second, the scope of management

This policy applies to all stakeholders (senior management, halal management team, employees and workers, suppliers).

3. Policy management

1. The General Administration Department is the focal point of this policy, and the rest of the departments shall disseminate to all stakeholders (senior management, halal management team, employees and workers, suppliers) in accordance with this policy to make them aware that the company has committed to the consistent production of halal products, in specific areas, in the form of employee briefings, internal memos, brochures, internal announcements, flyers, banners, posters, newsletter emails, company intranet system, Public lectures or any other form of publicity training or release according to the needs of the company.

2. Raw materials

(1) Carnivorous animals and organs cannot be used in products made from animals.

(2) Beverages containing alcohol or alcoholic beverages cannot be used for plant-based products.

(3) Multiple factories of the same company produce the same product in different Halal states, and the specific name or number of the factory should be written on the product packaging.

(4) Raw material suppliers should provide supporting documents, such as Halal certificate, flow chart, specification, COA (label), MSDS (human standard development system).

(5) The base paper certificate used for the production of Halal products shall indicate the name of the material, the name of the manufacturer, the place of origin and the Halal logo.

3. Procurement

(1) The raw materials used for the manufacture of household paper shall be purchased from qualified suppliers, and the implementation of the halal policy shall be supervised by the suppliers from time to time. Pork or pork derivatives must not be used as raw materials for the production of halal products by suppliers, and it is strictly forbidden to provide non-halal food and beverages to Muslim consumers.

(2) The procurement of new raw materials shall be carried out from qualified suppliers and approved by LPPOM MUI first.

(3) The logistics procurement center shall establish a raw material early warning system to remind the Halal certificate to expire to ensure the validity of the suppliers Halal certificate.

4. Incoming inspection

(1) After the raw materials or finished products enter the company, the sampling personnel should first conduct a visual inspection of the incoming materials to check whether the protective layer of the incoming materials (outer film, cartons, white bags) is damaged, whether there is dirt and pollution, whether there are materials from pigs and their derivatives, blood, carrion or part of the human body and other prohibited items prohibited by the companys system.

(2) When sampling, it should be ensured that the samples taken from raw materials and products will not be contaminated by unclean substances.

5. Production

(1) The halal product production and operation site shall hang the "Halal Food Production and Operation Qualification Certificate" in a conspicuous position; If a non-halal product production and operation enterprise is approved to be converted into a halal product enterprise, its equipment and appliances that have produced non-halal products shall be cleaned in accordance with Muslim cleaning norms and procedures before producing halal products, and equipment and utensils that cannot be cleaned shall not be used in the production of halal products.

(2) The production line used for the production of halal products shall not be co-linear with the production line for the production of pork or pork derivatives products. Before production, the production line should be thoroughly cleaned and cleaned according to the "Production Site Conversion Cleaning Control Procedure", and the cleaning effect should be verified according to the "Cleaning and Disinfection Verification Method".

(3) The facilities and equipment for the production of Halal products shall have never produced products containing pork and pork derivatives, and if they have been produced, they shall be thoroughly cleaned, cleaned and recorded in accordance with the "Control Procedures for Cleaning and Cleaning at the Production Site", and the cleaning effect shall be verified in accordance with the "Cleaning and Disinfection Verification Method".

(4) Production tools (e.g. brushes) used in facilities and equipment for the production of Halal products from animal hair are not permitted.

(5) The production record of the production of Halal products shall record the information of the raw materials used.

(6) Halal-certified cleaning agents should be used for daily cleaning.

6. Storage

(1) All materials stored in the warehouse should be labeled.

(2) The warehouse should have a material management system and ensure easy traceability.

(3) The means of transportation of materials or products shall be clean and not contaminated by unclean substances, and tools loaded with pigs and their derivatives, blood, carrion or parts of the human body shall not be used.

(4) There should be evidence that Halal products are not contaminated with haram/unclean substances.

7. Traceability system

(1) Raw materials and products should have traceable codes, and the Halal status of raw materials with the same code should be consistent, which is unique, traceable, and traceable to the original state of raw materials.

(2) Ensure that products that do not meet the standards are not sold to customers who need Halal products, and if they have been sold, the products should be recalled from the market.
